Changes in Export Requirements for Processed Products Going to Russia
April 29, 2010
A list is being developed of further processing and cold storage establishments that will be approved to export to Russia. Effective May 1, 2010, only establishments on this list will be eligible to export prepared or processed meat products to Russia. The list can be updated as additional establishments are approved. This list will be posted in the Export Library. Establishments interested in being on this list must prepare and submit FSIS Form 9080-3, Establishment Application for Export. Establishments submitting the 9080-3 may be subject to audit by the Russian Federation. Until this list is posted, fully cooked pork products and pork casings may originate from any Federally inspected facility.*
